Dr. Bill Coats established The Leona Group in Michigan in 1996 with the belief that all children, regardless of ethnicity, economic status or educational disadvantage, can learn and achieve. This belief is foundational to The Leona Group, permeates throughout the entire organization and culture, and is vibrant in each Leona-managed school.
The Leona Group began its Florida operations in 2006 and has grown to manage schools in Broward, Miami-Dade, Hillsborough and Jefferson counties.
