Leona Group graduating seniors honored with Spirit of Leona Award

Every Leona Group school is committed to creating educational opportunities that reach beyond the raditional, providing unique possibilities to all students - regardless of the obstacles they face along the way. The true measure of whether we
are successful is measured by the success of our students.

Each year, The Leona Group recognizes students who have risen above the challenges in their lives to achieve personal success. In Phoenix, Arizona and East Lansing, Michigan, 25 students attended special receptions in their honor. Each student was awarded a Spirit of Leona certificate and a Netbook computer.

Each year, it is my greatest pleasure to meet the young people who have made Leona schools their educational choice and to congratulate The Spirit of Leona award honorees. Despite their individual challenges, these students have set an example for us all.

In the Spirit of Leona, they have demonstrated that given adequate opportunity our nation's youth can achieve amazing success. These exceptional young men and women have shown that through character, perseverance and determination, all things are possible.
