Giving to others reaps rewards

In today's economy, those in need require our help more than ever.  Estrella High School is doing its part by holding a canned food drive for the Phoenix Rescue Mission through Friday, September 10. 

Giving back to the community and knowing you've helped is its own reward, but it doesn't hurt to have a little classroom competition as well.  The second and fifth periods that collect the most cans by the due date will win a party for the class.  Currently, Mr. Salcido's second hour is in first place for the morning, and Mr. Osterberg's fifth hour is in first place for the evening.

The food drive is open to the public as well, so bring in any donations to the front office today and do your part to help!
