Middle Schoolers Hit the Slopes

Last week was the fourth annual ski trip to Pine Knob for Consortium middle school students.  Led by teachers Charisse Vaunado and Jennifer Bostick, it was a fantastic experience.  The weather was very cold -- one of the coldest days of the year -- but everyone was excited.  They started with a group lesson before heading bravely up the hill.

 "This is so good for many of our students," Ms. Vaunado explained.  "They are being exposed to new things, new people, and new challenges."  It was their first time on skis for many students, but they did well and had a GREAT time.
