South Pointe High School to administer NAEP test
South Pointe has been chosen to participate in the National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP).
This test is administered by the National Center for Education Statistics within the U.S. Department of Education and tells us what our nation’s students can do in key subject areas.
Approximately 200,000 students will be tested nationwide this year. The results are published in The Nation’s Report Card which provides important data to educators, parents, and policymakers. The NAEP is administered to randomly selected seniors.
If your student was chosen to be tested they have been notified and a letter will arrive at your home. NAEP testing will take place on January 27 and the subject will be writing.
We are proud to participate. If you have further questions, please contact Ms. Murray at the school.
