Accelerated Reader Program Kick-off

AR Reader Kick-off, Big Success!

Last Friday, March 4, 2011, the Gilbert Arts Academy family celebrated the kick-off of their new accelerated reader program with music, food, and dancing.  The program was purchased with funds made available from a small federal grant and the parent teacher organization.  School staff and parents worked cohesively over weekends and evenings to catalogue and reorganize the school library, aligning books with the new program. Live music was provided by local talent, the Valley Fever Band, and families had an enjoyable evening eating, dancing and enjoying each other's company.
