Consortium Welcomes NCA Committee

CCPHS is hosting some very important visitors today and tomorrow, March 30-31: the members of the accreditation committee of the North Central Association. This is a group which determines whether a school meets high academic standards. They visit a wide variety of schools around the United States, on a mission to improve public education.

Consortium was the first Leona Group high school to be accredited, five years ago. This time, we have applied for re-accreditation. Led by Shavonne Brown, Patricia Crosson, Lydia Kovach, Karen Clark, and Tracey Cadwell, we have spent many hours preparing the required documentation for the committee. They will interview several people from the school community - staff, students, and parents - and give us their findings at the end of their visit. We are very pleased to welcome them to our school.
