Alexandria Andree, grade 3 teacher at South Pointe Elementary, wanted to create a way to empower and mentor the school's older female students. To that end, Andree started The Sisterhood, a club offered to girls in grades 3-5. The club teaches students the importance of leadership, success and community service. As the group's first community service project, The Sisterhood's members have decided to participate in the Make a Wish Foundation Walk to help grant a child's wish.
