Partnerships & Affiliations

South Pointe Elementary has teamed up with several community organizations.  We believe that the family, school, and community should take part in the positive growth of our students.  Our partners in the community are:

Keiecher Boys and Girls Club-provides a comprehensive after-school program from 3:00p.m.-8:00p.m. for our students.

Gabriel’s Angels-visits SPES every Wednesday to deliver healing pet therapy to abused, neglected and at-risk children, nurturing their ability to love and trust, thereby freeing them from the cycle of violence

Full Circle Help-donates food to our school every Monday for our students and parents.

KaBoom-donated and helped build a playground for SPES students

Chrysler-funded, sponsored, and donated a complete playground for SPES students

Hermosa Park Recreation Center-a community park across the street from SPES that allow our students to utilize their center for community events

Walmart- donated monies to help with the Kaboom/Chrysler playground project.

Safeway Grocery Store-donates food to our students and their families

Maximus-an Arizona Jobs and Volunteer State program that allows South Pointe elementary parents to do volunteer hours at our school and get reimbursed for their travel mileage
